Change of passwords due to the transition to a new system

As a result of the change to the library system, user passwords were not transferred. In the new library system, Alma, it will be necessary to establish them again. For this purpose, please contact your chosen branch.

  1. How to log in to your library account?
    Go to the library’s website.
    • In the top right corner of the page, you will find “ZALOGUJ” (LOGIN), which will lead you to the login window for your library account.
    • In the “LOGIN” field, enter your library card number (you can find it below the barcode on your card) or URBANCARD number (on the back of the card, the entire number without spaces) or Nasz Wrocław application number.
    • In the “PASSWORD” field, enter the first eight digits of your PESEL number (if you don’t have a PESEL number, the password is the full date of birth in the format: year month day YYYYMMDD).
    • Select “ZALOGUJ” (LOGIN) or press ENTER.
  2. How to change the password for your library account?
    • Log in (see above instructions).
    • Select “DANE OSOBOWE” (PERSONAL DATA).
    • Choose “ZMIANA HASŁA” (CHANGE PASSWORD).
    • Follow the instructions provided to change your password.
  3. To start receiving notifications regarding due dates and reservation status, please follow these steps:
    • Log in (refer to the instructions provided above).
      Select “DANE OSOBOWE” (PERSONAL DATA).
    • Choose “EDYTUJ” (EDIT).
    • Enter your email address at the bottom of the page.
    • Select “ZAPISZ ZMIANY” (SAVE CHANGES).
      By completing these steps, you should now be set to receive notifications regarding due dates and reservation status via the provided email address.
  4. How to extend the due date of borrowed materials?
    • Log in (refer to the instructions provided above). Select “WYPOŻYCZENIA” (LOANS).
    • You can choose the option “PRZEDŁUŻ WSZYSTKIE” (RENEW ALL). Please check if the due dates have changed for all titles.
    • You can extend the due date of selected items by clicking “PRZEDŁUŻ” (RENEW) next to the respective title. Check if a new due date appears next to the title.
    • Here are the extension limits for different types of library materials:
      • Books, audiobooks, and language learning materials: 30-day extension (30 days of borrowing and a maximum of 30 days from the moment of renewal, totaling a maximum of 60 days).
      • Movies, music CDs, educational multimedia programs, computer games, board games: 7-day extension (7 days of borrowing and a maximum of 7 days from the moment of renewal, totaling a maximum of 14 days).

        NOTE:
        The materials you want to extend must not be on hold, and your account must not have any outstanding financial obligations.
        Self-renewal cannot be performed on the day of the return
        Items ordered by other readers are not eligible for renewal. In the loan status, you will see a message stating: “Ordered for another reader” and a lock symbol with the message “Cannot renew.”
  5. To place an order, please follow these steps:
    • Log in (refer to the instructions provided above).
    • Locate the item you are interested in from the catalog.
    • Select the branch where you want to place the order
    • Choose “ZAMÓWIENIE” (ORDER).
    • Select the pickup location (the place from where you are ordering and where you will collect the item).
    • Choose “Wyślij zamówienie” (Submit Order).
      If the order is successfully registered, you will receive a message: “Your order has been successfully placed.”
      You can track the order status by:
    • Selecting the “MOJE ZAMÓWIENIA” (MY ORDERS) tab in the sidebar.
    • Choosing the “ZAMÓWIENIA” (ORDERS) tab in the top panel.

      NOTE:
      Orders can only be placed for items that are currently borrowed or ordered by other readers.
  6. Why can’t I place an order?
    If you receive the message “Zapisanie zamówienia nie powiodło się: Użytkownik ma aktywne wypożyczenie dla wybranej pozycji” (“The order placement failed: The user has an active loan for the selected item.”) in Primo, it means that you cannot place an order for the item because the requesting reader already has it on loan.
    If you receive the message “Zapisanie zamówienia nie powiodło się: Użytkownik ma aktywne zamówienie dla wybranej pozycji” (“The order placement failed: The user has an active order for the selected item.”) in Primo, it means that you cannot place an order for the item because it is already ordered by the reader. Only one request per title can be placed in the queue at a time, within a specific branch.
  7. How to check the loan history?
    • Log in (refer to the instructions provided above).
    • Select “WYPOŻYCZENIA” (LOANS).
    • Expand the section for “AKTYWNE WYPOŻYCZENIA” (ACTIVE LOANS).
    • Select “POPRZEDNIE WYPOŻYCZENIA” (PREVIOUS LOANS) (this is your loan history).
  8. What to do in case of an account blockage?
    Account blockage can be imposed for various reasons. It prevents borrowing, extending due dates, and placing orders. In case of its occurrence, please contact any branch of the the Tadeusz Różewicz Municipal Public Library in Wrocław
  9. How to check the amount of the fine charged for late return of loans?
    • Log in (refer to the instructions provided above).
    • Select “TRANSAKCJE FINANSOWE” (FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS).
    • For each item returned after the due date, the amount charged for the late return will be displayed. The accrued fines can be paid directly at the library or through a bank transfer by settling the fees into the appropriate account. If the items still appear on the reader’s account as not returned, they should be returned to the library branch from which they were borrowed before settling any outstanding financial obligations.
  10. What to do when the renewal limit has been exhausted or the due date has passed, but you still need library materials?

In such a situation, you should return the materials to the library branch from which they were borrowed and settle any outstanding financial obligations. If there are no further reservations for the specific items, you can borrow them again.
